HEARRT: Health And Risk Reduction Team

What is HEARRT? The Health Education And Risk Reduction Team (HEARRT), is an original structural intervention, is BAGLY’s youth-led health promotion program. Small groups of thoughtful, committed LGBTQ young people (we call them the HEARRTeam) work to change negative health outcomes in their community. BAGLY’s HEARRT Program is replicated across the state through the GLBT Youth Group Network of Massachusetts. Check out an “AGLY” near you to connect with their HEARRTeams and for prevention, screening, and referral services for LGBTQ youth across Massachusetts.

HEARRT Peer Mental Wellness Meetings

*Program temporarily on hiatus*

The BAGLY Peer Mental Wellness Meetings are peer-led, adult-supported groups that address the unique challenges LGBTQ+ youth face in the mental health system and daily life. As a brave space for conversations around healing, wellness, and personal growth, meetings are open to all queer youth under 25 and do not require proof of insurance or identification.
