Jenna Schlags (she/her)

DIRECTOR OF OPERATIONS & FINANCE

Jenna (she/her) joined BAGLY in November 2023 as the Director of Operations and Finance.  She brings over nine years of experience in finance, spanning across the corporate, public, and nonprofit sectors. Most recently, Jenna was the inaugural Director of Finance and Operations at The Foundry, a new arts and community center in Cambridge, MA. In that role, she created financial and operational systems and policies for the Foundry’s first year of operations.

Jenna has an extensive background in credit risk; she led the calculation of the quarterly credit reserve for loans and leases at State Street, and improved quantitative models to respond to the unique economic conditions of the covid pandemic. At Moody’s Investors Service she specialized in infrastructure and public private partnerships, and authored research on the growing use of dynamic toll roads.  

Outside of work, Jenna is an artist, actor, and playwright. She enjoys telling historical fiction and speculative fiction stories viewed through a queer lens. Jenna has most recently acted with the Queer Theater Project, continuing her love of queer Shakespeare reinterpretations.

Jenna holds an MBA from the University of Rochester and earned her BA in Economics and Studio Art from Brandeis University.
